At Goodae, we're building a trusted community where people, organisations and communities can create meaningful impact together.

These Community Guidelines explain the behaviours we expect from everyone using Goodae. They complement our Terms & Conditions and help us maintain a safe, welcoming and respectful environment for all.

Our Community Standards

We encourage everyone to:

• Be respectful in conversations.
• Keep your profile and information accurate.
• Honour volunteer commitments whenever reasonably possible.
• Communicate if you're unable to attend.
• Respect people's privacy.
• Be constructive when providing feedback.
• Support newcomers.
• Follow safety instructions during volunteering activities.

Protecting Our Community

To keep Goodae safe and welcoming, the following activities are not permitted:

• Harassment, bullying or threatening behaviour.
• Fraud, scams or deceptive conduct.
• Creating fake accounts or impersonating others.
• Publishing misleading volunteer opportunities.
• Manipulating volunteer attendance or service hours.
• Sharing another person's personal information without permission.
• Uploading malicious software or interfering with the Platform.
• Any unlawful activity or conduct that may harm others or undermine trust in the community.

Reporting Concerns

If you see behaviour that concerns you, let us know. We encourage reports made honestly and in good faith.

Examples include:

• unsafe volunteer activities;
• fraud;
• fake organisations;
• abusive behaviour;
• privacy concerns; or
• any activity that places others at risk.

How We Respond

Our goal is to educate before we enforce whenever appropriate.

Depending on the situation, we may:

• provide guidance;
• issue a warning;
• remove content;
• restrict Platform features;
• suspend Accounts; or
• permanently remove Users or Organisations from Goodae.

Serious misconduct may result in immediate action where necessary to protect our community.
